7-Foot-Long Gator Found On Trail At Brooker Creek Preserve In Pinellas

Pinellas sheriff's deputies wrangled the gator and moved it to a section of the preserve that's not open to the public.

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — A 7-foot-long alligator has been relocated to a section of the Brooker Creek Nature Preserve in Tarpon Springs that's off-limits to the public after being discovered moseying along the public nature trail at the preserve on Thanksgiving morning.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, deputies with the marine and environmental lands unit discovered the gator on the trail of the nature preserve and were able to wrangle the renegade reptile and move it to an area away from the public.
