AHEPA 20 W. Tarpon Ave. Tarpon Springs opened its door to feed hundreds for free during hurricane Irma

The AHEPA (Amercan Hellenic Educational Progressive Association) a non-profit located at 20 W. Tarpon Avenue opened it's door and served free hot meals monday through friday to several hundred people. Free meals were cooked by chef Nick Mattheos and consisted of ham, turkey, burgers, hot dogs, meat loaf, fish homemade soup and chicken. The AHEPA normally only is open thursday and friday evenings from 6 until 7 or 8 pm, but this week opened everyday to provide a cool place to relax and a free meal to hundreds of people.
