Arrest Made In Robbery Of Tarpon Springs Medical Marijuana Office

Tarpon Springs police have arrested a man in connection to an armed robbery at a medical marijuana physician's office in Tarpon Springs.

Marcus Gerald Britton, 38, was charged with robbery with a deadly weapon, kidnapping and felon in possession of a firearm.

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — Tarpon Springs police have arrested a man in connection to an armed robbery at a medical marijuana physician's office in Tarpon Springs.

Tarpon Springs police said a man walked into the New Age Medical Associates medical marijuana physicians' office at 1730 S Pinellas Ave., Suite J, on Monday at 11:47 a.m., displayed a gun and demanded money.

On Friday, Tarpon Springs police, with assistance from the Pinellas Park Police Department, arrested Marcus Gerald Britton, 38, and charged him with robbery with a deadly weapon, kidnapping and felon in possession of a firearm.
