East Lake Girls Varsity Soccer Team Clinches 6th Straight Win
Throughout the game, East Lake's outstanding ball control allowed the players to do a superior job of keeping possession in spite of aggressive play by the St. Pete team.
The East Lake High School Girls Varsity Soccer Team posted their sixth straight win in a hard fought game against St. Petersburg on Friday, Nov. 16.
Just minutes after the start of the game, Madison Del Duca surprised the unprepared St. Pete defense with a breakaway goal.
With 20 minutes left in the game, a pass by Megan Kelly bounced off a St. Pete player to a determined Kristy Legoas, who capitalized on the air ball to pop a shot past the St. Pete goalie.
