Largo Police K-9 Bites 10-Year-Old, Sends Him To Hospital

A 10-year-old boy was taken to the hospital by his father and is in stable condition after a Largo Police Department K-9 bit him.

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — A 10-year-old boy was taken to the hospital by his father and is in stable condition after a Largo Police Department K-9 bit him.

According to Tarpon Springs police on Tuesday at 4:29 p.m., police were called after a member of the Largo police K-9 unit was accidentally released from his fenced back yard and bit the 10-year-old.

No further information was released.
