Tarpon Springs resident James C. Metzger, founder, chairman and CEO of Whitmore Agency, an insurance brokerage and financial services firm headquartered in Garden City (Long Island), New York, is featured in the current issue of New York’s Social Life magazine.

The September issue spotlights Metzger’s dedication to helping nonprofits along Long Island, in New York City (Jamaica in Queens and Harlem in Manhattan), in Newark, New Jersey, and elsewhere. The issue (click here and open to page 55) features the stories about the magnificent people with whom Metzger is associated and who are giving back to various communities within the New York Metropolitan Area.

“I am honored to be featured in the new issue of Social Life magazine, where the spotlight has been placed on the many programs championed by me, my Hofstra University lacrosse teammate and close friend Vinnie Sombrotto, and many more in our families, and among our friends and colleagues,” said Metzger. “Together, we are introducing the game of lacrosse to many young kids across the area and supporting other programs related to education, athletics and family.”
