Silver Toyota Tundra That Fatally Struck Teen Crossing U.S. 19 Sought

Tarpon Springs police are searching for a silver 2014-17 Toyota Tundra pickup truck that fatally struck a 17-year-old girl crossing U.S. 19.

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — Tarpon Springs police are searching for a silver 2014-2017 Toyota Tundra pickup truck that fatally struck a 17-year-old girl crossing U.S. 19 and fled the scene.

At around 5 a.m. on March 28, the pickup truck was headed north on U.S. 19 near Klosterman Road when it struck the teen from Pompano Beach who was crossing the road.

Police said the pickup truck sustained heavy front-end damage in the crash.

The teen was pronounced dead at the scene.
