Student Attacked On Way To Her Bus Stop In Tarpon Springs
A student at Tarpon Springs High School was able to fight off a man who attacked her as she was walking to her school bus stop Wednesday.
TARPON SPRINGS, FL — A student at Tarpon Springs High School was able to fight off a man who attacked her as she was walking to her school bus stop Wednesday morning.
According to Tarpon Springs police, the student told the school resource officer that she was walking to her bus stop at the intersection of Grosse Avenue and Harrison Street around 8 a.m. when a man she didn't know got out of an older-model silver Nissan pickup truck and tried to grab her by the left shoulder.
The girl said she was able to fight him off and run to her bus stop.
