Carmine Mariano, a Permanent Resident of the United States since settling in Chicago from his native Italy in 1972, is now seeking to become a US Citizen. However, he is finding that the hefty fees associated with necessary document procurement from Italy, Chicago and Clearwater, Fl. along with the filing fees required of the Department of Immigration and Naturalization are quite beyond his rather simple means.
Therefore I have instituted a page within the crowd funding site YouCaring.com, titled "US CITIZENSHP for Carmine Mariano. I have also produced a benefit concert to coincide with the crowdfunding effort.
My friends, let's get 'er done. Carmine is now 78. His final dream, to be an American citizen when he oes to meet his beloved Carmella at last.
