Tarpon Springs police have arrested a woman after she was accused of setting a vehicle on fire after being disciplined by her employer.

TARPON SPRINGS, FL — Tarpon Springs police have arrested a woman for arson after being accused of setting a vehicle on fire after being disciplined by her employer.

On Friday at 11:08 a.m., Tarpon Springs police responded to Tarpon Towers, 905 E Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, for a report of a woman who attempted to set fire to a vehicle in the parking lot, said police.

Officers later identified the woman as Amber Marie Galbraith, 35, who became upset about being disciplined by her employer. Galbraith arrived at the business with ignitable liquids and went inside where fellow employees prevented her from igniting the liquids.

Police said she then left the building and set fire to a parked vechicle.

She was charged with one count of arson, battery and obstruction.
