Suspect ID'd In Fatal Buford Shooting

A 35-year-old man was found with gunshot wounds in a parked vehicle, and he later died at a local hospital, police said.

BUFORD — A shooting suspect has been identified in the death of a 35-year-old man at an Allen Street home, Gwinnett County Police said Thursday.

Police said Rodericus Jackson, 33, of Buford, is being charged in connection with the killing of Quentin Cantrell, who was found with gunshot wounds on Oct. 16 in a parked vehicle. He later died at a local hospital.

Jackson was charged on suspicion of felony murder and aggravated assault, police said. He is currently at large. A motive in the shooting is unknown.
