1 Injured In Accidental Shooting At Frankfort Sybaris: PD

FRANKFORT, IL — One person was injured after a gun was accidentally fired inside a room at Sybaris in Frankfort Thursday morning.

Police were called at 11:15 a.m. to an incident involving a firearm at 7500 W. Lincoln Highway, police said. A preliminary investigation suggests an accidental discharge of the firearm inside the victim's room.

One person suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital by another guest, police said.
