FRANKFORT, IL — A motorcyclist was killed following a hit-and-run crash Thursday night in Frankfort, according to Frankfort Police Deputy Chief Kevin Keegan.

Police responded to the crash at approximately 11:40 p.m. in the 7900 block of East Lincoln Highway, Keegan said.

Frankfort police attempted life-saving measure on the man, but he did not survive his injuries, Keegan said.

Police have not yet released the name of the man who was killed.

The Lincoln-Way Major Crash Investigation Team was sent to the scene, and the hit and run is under investigation, Keegan said.
