Same-Day Amazon Delivery Now Available in Chicago

One-hour and two-hour Amazon Prime Now delivery options are now available in several Chicago neighborhoods, including Lincoln Park and Wicker Park. Amazon Prime members can pay $7.99 for one-hour delivery of goods as diverse as toilet paper and television sets. Two-hour delivery is free of additional charge.

The service, available via the Amazon Prime Now app, began Friday. Other Chicago neighborhoods with speedy delivery options include River North, River West, Humboldt Park, West Town, Gold Coast, Old Town and Noble Square. An Amazon Prime subscription costs $99 a year. The same-day service began in 14 other cities in May, reports Engadget.
