Indiana Applebee’s Spots To Fundraise For Deputy Pickett's Family

These local Applebee's locations are raising funds for Boone Co. Sheriff's Deputy Pickett's family during upcoming event: Details

ACROSS INDIANA -- Applebee's is inviting community members to support Boone County Sheriff's Deputy Jacob Pickett's family during an upcoming fundraiser at several of the restaurant chain's locations. On Wednesday, May 16, Applebee's will host a "Dining to Donate" event from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. to raise funds for Deputy Pickett's family, as Pickett was killed on March 2 in the line of duty while assisting the Lebanon Police Department.

Applebee's says 15 percent of each participating party’s bill will be donated directly to the family of Deputy Pickett, who is survived by his wife, two young sons, and newly retired K-9 unit companion, Brik, who will continue to live with the family.

Want your order to-go? Participation is available for both dine-in and to-go orders, so just make sure you inform Applebee's team members when ordering or when placing Carside To Go orders that you're contributing to the Pickett's "Dining to Donate."
