MD County Fair Guide 2024: Where, When To Catch Family Fun

MARYLAND — Plenty of county fairs are on the roster this season in Maryland from Harford to Allegany counties, with the first two of the season now underway.

Starting in early July in Baltimore County through late September with the Calvert County Fair, there are about 20 opportunities to catch amusement rides, carnival games, food, contests, exhibits, live music, homegrown entertainment and more in the state.

The Prince George's County Fair was canceled because of a lack of volunteers, organizers said. The event has been held at Show Place Arena, 14900 Pennsylvania Ave., Upper Marlboro

Plus, the Maryland State Fair will be held three consecutive weekends: Aug. 22-25, Aug. 29-Sept. 2, and Sept. 5-8 at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, 2200 York Road, Timonium.
