Cop Wows in Viral Jump Rope Video: Watch

That includes community outreach. But who could have guessed that an awesome Double Dutch rope-jumping skill is part of his skill set?

Corporal Jones dropped by Community Day on Aug. 22 at Victorious Life of Faith in District Heights. One of the activities going on was Double Dutch rope with the DC Retro Jumpers.

Jones jumped in, heavy duty belt and all, to show some moves. He spun, he did jumping jacks while also jumping rope, and he combined all the steps to applause from the crowd.

The next day Jones, who is also a Realtor at Keller Willams Realty Centre in Frederick, posted a video of his feat on his Facebook page. And it took off, with nearly 400,000 views to date, a couple thousand “likes” as of Tuesday, and more than 6,500 shares.
