National Night Out 2015: Find Times, Locations

National Night Out events will take place in over 80 locations throughout Prince George’s County Tuesday, Aug. 4, including multiple events in the Transforming Neighborhoods Initiative (TNI) communities.

At each event, food, prizes, and information about public safety and government resources will be available for attendees.

National Night Out was created in 1984 by the National Association of Town Watch - a non-profit organization dedicated to the development and promotion of various crime prevention programs including neighborhood watch groups, law enforcement agencies, state and regional crime prevention associations, businesses, civic groups, and individuals, devoted to safer communities.

“I invite all Prince Georgians to join us for National Night Out tomorrow evening,” said Prince George’s County Executive Rushern L. Baker, III. “National Night Out is an important annual event where neighbors spend time with people in their towns and communities promoting crime prevention and building partnerships with public safety professionals. Additionally, National Night Out provides a great opportunity for residents to become better acquainted with our incredible public safety employees.”
