A Lanham woman has reportedly admitted to police that she ran over her husband with an SUV following a domestic dispute, fatally pinning the man under the vehicle, authorities say.
Prince George’s County Police on Monday charged Araceli Alvarez-Mendoza, 37, of the 9400 block of Worrell Avenue with murder in the case. The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Fernando Fragoso-Duana.
The fatal collision happened Sunday near the intersection of Seabrook Road and Washington Boulevard after the couple argued. Police say Fragoso-Duana left the home on foot, and his wife followed him in the SUV before intentionally striking him with the vehicle.
