Maine Beer Company, Boston Harbor Hotel Partner For Summer Pop-Up: MA Cheap Eats

BOSTON, MA — Is there anything that screams summer more than sitting outside in the warm sun with a great beer and a hot dog?

If that sounds like your kind of evening then get excited, because Boston Harbor Hotel and Maine Beer Co. have teamed up in 2024 to bring back the Brewer's Alley pop-up this summer.

Now in year three for Brewer's Alley, this year's edition opens on June 20 with a menu featuring a $7 hot dog and a rotating menu of Maine Beer Co. brews.

If beer isn't your thing, the pop-up will also feature a menu of ciders, wines, spirits and non-alcoholic beverages. The food options also include chips and dip as well as a soft pretzel.

Perhaps most noteworthy given the Boston location are the prices. Though the beer offerings are over $10, all other items on the menu — with the exception of a Cipriani bellini — are under $10, including cocktails, wine and food.

The alley pop-up is located in the alley next to Rowes Wharf Bar at 70 Rowes Wharf, in Boston. It is open from 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday, and 12 to 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.

Dinner and a Movie?

The Regal Cinemas chain, which has six movie theaters in Massachusetts, is bringing back its $1 family movies this summer.

Regal’s Summer Movie Express promotion features 18 films, including “Despicable Me 3,” “Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway,” “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” and “PAW Patrol: The Movie.”

The promotion also includes a junior-sized drink, snack-sized popcorn, and fruit snacks for $5. An optional Dippin’ Dots add-on is available for $3.
