The Birth, Death, and Rebirth of Stone's Bridge, 1674-2024
The "New Bridge" was built over the Sudbury River at the south end of town in 1674. It went on to help drive the British out of Boston, found Framingham, and play host to Henry David Thoreau. It died as a bridge in 1955, but was reborn as a monument and one of our most photographed sites. Tom Sciacca, Wayland’s representative to the River Stewardship Council, tells its story. In person and virtual. Co-sponsored by the Council as part of Riverfest 2024. Thursday, July 11 at 7 p.m.

Fields Acoustic Concert
One voice, two guitars. Dave (guitar and vocals) and Joe (guitar and octave mandolin) offer covers and originals to weave a tapestry of acoustic and electric textures. Thursday, July 18 at 7 p.m.

Our Seed Library Takes Root
In a seed library, you check out seeds instead of books. While you can keep your garden and our seed supply sustainable by replanting the next generation of seeds after harvesting your plants, there is no need to return anything to library. Check out two seed packets per planting season, and make our community more beautiful and sustainable.
