How do you know the teacher?

She taught my two sons in first grade and then they were lucky enough to have her as a teacher again in middle school! My daughter was in her class in 6th grade as well!

What does this person teach?

She started as a 1st-grade teacher and then did continuing education to be able to do reading recovery. She is currently a middle school English/reading and writing teacher.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

She has an unbelievable ability to connect with her students. She’s understanding, relatable, and fun while still being able to establish a firm learning environment.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She is the absolute best! By far the most warm, caring, fun, and supportive teacher any of my three children have had.
