City Commission Recruitment
The City Council values the input of residents and provides opportunities for participation through six advisory commissions. Eden Prairie residents are invited to learn more and apply for these commissions online at edenprairie.org/Commissions.

Monday, Feb. 8: Application deadline
Tuesday, Feb. 23: Commission member candidate interviews (in person or virtual)
Tuesday, March 2 or 16: City Council appoints commission members

Small Business and Nonprofit Relief
Grant applications are available through noon Thursday, Jan. 14 to eligible small businesses and nonprofits that have been financially harmed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn more at hennepin.us/Business-Support.
Recycling Holiday Trees and Lights
The City Yard Waste Site is open today through Sunday for residents to drop off holiday trees and lights for recycling. The recycling event is free and available to Eden Prairie residents with proof of residency, and landlords or business owners with proof of an Eden Prairie address. Only trees and holiday light strings can be recycled during this event. Acceptable items must be unloaded by the resident; assistance is not provided.
