2023 SummerFest Concert Lineup Brings Back Favorites In Brick

BRICK, NJ — Mark your calendars: The 2023 SummerFest concert schedule is out and it includes some old favorites returning to Windward Beach Park.

Mayor John G. Ducey announced the concert schedule Tuesday evening during his Facebook live before the Township Council meeting.

Super Trans Am is kicking off the series for the third straight year, performing June 29, Ducey said.

The first SummerFest concert each summer is when the township celebrates the Fourth of July.

Ducey said that while the township normally has a patriotic soundtrack to go along with the fireworks at the end of the concert, Super Trans Am is going to be playing live during the fireworks.

"They actually are doing that free of charge," Ducey said. "We are paying them to be at the concert, but they didn't charge us extra" to perform during the fireworks, which typically go about 30 to 35 minutes for the 4th of July celebration.

On July 6, Garden State Radio will take the stage. The band played SummerFest from 2017-2019 and performs some of the biggest anthems of the '80s, '90s, 2000s, and more, along with a synchronized light show.

On July 13, Amish Outlaws returns. They last performed at SummerFest in 2021, doing their eclectic mix of popular music. They are a crowd favorite.

The concert series concludes July 20 with another crowd favorite, Jessie's Girl. The band made its SummerFest debut in 2018 and brought the house down with renditions of favorite songs from the '80s while dressed up as unforgettable characters from the decade.
