OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out this list of goings-on in Ocean County.

The Rock For Awareness music festival is set for 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at Community Park in Point Pleasant. The festival features music by the NERDS, the Surge and the Red House Band. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket. There will be food trucks and vendors and more. It's presented by The Nicholas Hudanish Foundation whose mission is to raise awareness and improve the understanding of the epidemic of addiction; to strive to develop substance abuse prevention and behavioral health co-educational programs and outreaches and to seek to empower teens to lead drug-free lives.

Celebrate the beauty of sea glass

The Annual LBI Sea Glass and Art Festival is set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and is hosted by Things A Drift in Ship Bottom. The celebration includes artwork, sea glass contests and presentations on sea glass and fossils of New Jersey. Things A Drift, 406 Long Beach Blvd., has hosted the event since its inception.

Support a fire company

The Pine Beach Fire Company No. 1 Station No. 38 will hold its fifth annual Fire Fest from noon to 7 p.m. on Saturday. The free event will include food trucks, crafters, a wine and beer garden, activities for children including games and rides, a climbing wall, bounce house. Music will be provided by local artists followed by the Jennie Barnes Band. There will also be fire safety and rescue demonstrations and a corn hole tournament featuring various teams from a variety of county emergency service organizations. The Pine Beach Fire company is a completely volunteer organization that has been servicing Pine Beach and neighboring communities since 1925.

Head to the YMCA for its Fall Festival

Get health and community information, play games, pet animals and enjoy a few hours out at the YMCA's Fall Festival. The festival is 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the Ocean County YMCA, 1088 West Whitty Road, Toms River. There will be fun games and activities for the entire family, including a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, and inflatable obstacle course! Register now through Eventbrite and receive a FREE gift the day of the event.

Toast Oktoberfest at a Food Truck Festival

The Oktoberfest 1 Food Truck Festival 2021 is set for Saturday and Sunday at the Laurita Winery in New Egypt. It's from 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday. There will be food trucks, music, Macaroni Anne Cheeze. Arm painting (no face painting at this time) Country line dancing. Bring a blanket or chairs and sit on the lawn. Tickets are $12 per person online, $14 per person at the door. Those under 21 get in free.
