OCEAN COUNTY, NJ — Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out this list of goings-on in Ocean County.

Take in a ballgame, support Homes Now

The Jersey Shore BlueClaws will be holding their Community Partners baseball game at 7 p.m. Friday at FirstEnergy Park, 2 Stadium Way in Lakewood. Purchase tickets through Homes Now Inc. and all proceeds help provide housing for income-restricted families, veterans, individuals with special needs and survivors of domestic violence. Tickets are $12 per person or buy 10 for $100. If you're able, purchase extra tickets to be distributed people who could not otherwise afford to attend. Check out a play

"Colors in the Dark " is an original work being staged Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Union Market & Gallery, 120 W Main Street, Tuckerton. The play, presented by Bellarmine Theatre, is written and directed by Abby Leyh and gives "an artistic insight into a family’s experience with pregnancy loss and through this finds reason to celebrate love, life, and the human experience." This production is not intended for children. It will be presented at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased online here. The event is weather-dependent and will be canceled if needed due to inclement weather. In the event that the event is canceled, all tickets will become tax-deductible donations.

Go to the Bacon Food Truck Festival

Laurita Winery is holding its Bacon Food Truck Festival Saturday and Sunday at the winery, 85 Archertown Road, New Egypt. Tickets are $12 in advance for those 21 or older, $14 at the door. Those 20 and younger get in free. Access to some of the best gourmet food trucks and access to more than six wine bars and two tasting tent areas. Bring your blankets and chairs and sit on the lawn. Free firewood to use in the winery's 40 fire pits. Playgrounds for the kids. Fireworks on Saturday night. Souvenir Laurita wine glass. Please Note: Outside food or beverages are not permitted and pets are not permitted at Laurita Winery. The event is 11 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday.

Visit the Summer Arts Fest

The Toms River Artist Community will hold a juried art show in the courtyard between the Library and town hall. Come and check out your local artists, ready to sell you their art. Support your local nonprofit art gallery! Walk a few feet and you will be in the midst of Downtown Night Out, with food and music. Family-friendly. The event is 3 p.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday, with a raindate of Sunday.

Listen to a music showcase

Ocean County Music will present its Student Showcase at noon on Sunday at the Point Pleasant Beach band shell at the corner of Arnold and Baltimore Avenue, next to Silver Lake. Call 732-899-8282 for more information.
