Brick Kids Fishing Derby Returns For 2021

The town's fishing derby returns after a year off due to the pandemic and you can sign up now.

BRICK, NJ — If you have kids who love to fish, sign them up for Saturday's Brick Township Fishing Derby.

The derby will be held from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Lake Riviera Park, 371 Lakeshore Drive. It is open to township children age 14 and younger. Registration is $5.

First-, second- and third-place prizes will be awarded for the largest fish caught at the lake; fish that can be weighed are bass, bluegills, crappie and perch.

Participants must supply their own fishing equipment and bait.
