JACKSON, NJ — In "The Conjuring," Patrick Wilson has taken on scary challenges while investigating paranormal events.

Wilson doesn't scare easily in his role as Ed Warren in the movie series whose third installment, "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It" was released earlier this year.

Last week, the devil really did make him do it: Wilson took on the challenge of the Jersey Devil Coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure, with its inversions, 13-story drop and speeds up to 60 mph.

Wilson, who took a birthday trip to the park with his family on July 2, let Six Flags send a camera along on his ride to capture his reactions, and the video has garnered more than 193,000 views and nearly 2,000 comments since he posted it to his Instagram account.

"I warn you, I don't usually scream," he says as the coaster begins its trip. You can watch the video below.

"Thank you @sfgradventure for this craziness. A great day was had… as evidenced by my ridiculous laugh," he wrote on the post.

“That was really good, come ride it,” he said at the end of his inaugural run, which had him laughing and yes, even screaming a little.

The latter prompted some ribbing from his "Conjuring" co-star, Vera Farmiga, who commented on his Instagram post.

"Finally something made you scream," she wrote, much to the delight of fans.

He even added a hashtag: #theNJdevilmademedoit
