NJ Boys Wrestling Championships: See The Winners, Medalists

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — The 2022-23 boys high school wrestling season in New Jersey finished with the state NJSIAA individual championships at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on Saturday.

Here are the results of the championship bouts, along with the third-, fifth- and seventh-place bouts, the culmination of three days of competition that started with 448 wrestlers across 14 total weight classes.

Anthony Santaniello of Brick Memorial, who won his second state championship in four trips the state finals, was named the tournament's Outstanding Wrestler.

Dan Roy of Southern Regional was honored as the Coach of the Year and the No. 1 team was St. Joseph of Montvale.

• 157: Alessio Perentin of Delbarton School won by decision over Zander Silva of Christian Brothers Academy, 5-2.
• 165: Louis Cerchio of Delbarton School won by decision over Jasiah Queen of Saint John Vianney, 4-1.
• 175: Simon Ruiz of Delbarton won by decision over Harvey Ludington of Brick Memorial, 3-2.
• 190: Michael Dellagatta of St. Joseph of Montvale won by decision over Anthony Harris of St. Peter’s Prep, 6-3.
• 215: Hudson Skove of Rumson-Fair Haven won in the ultimate tie breaker over Riley O`Boyle of Southern Regional, 3-2.
