BRICK, NJ — A parade has been scheduled for Friday to celebrate the New Jersey state championship won by the Brick Little League's 12-year-old All-Star team.

The team played an abbreviated season due to the coronavirus pandemic, with just the district, section and state tournaments, after Little League International canceled the region tournaments and the Little League World Series.

Brick's all-stars won their third straight District 18 championship, then took the Section 3 and state championships without losing a game. It's the first 12-year-old state championship in 30 years for the Brick Little League. Read more: Brick Little League Wins 1st State Championship In 30 Years
