Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mr. Geoff is so patient, positive, compassionate and animated with these kids! This is a rare combination of qualities that can rarely be taught as a person must possess these characteristics in order to effectively teach mentor and interact with a variety of personalities and disabilities on a daily basis. I can see the positive impact he has on all the kids just by watching them together and he has been instrumental in my own sons progress this past year! He has been injured several times in the classroom and never lets it affect him negatively and more importantly makes sure the kids do not feel bad about it:)

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

It takes a very special person to teach special needs especially an inclusive room with 9 boys with a range of age’s personalities and abilities and Mr Geoff is an amazing human being!
