GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Welcome to the Sept. 5 edition of Monday Manual, where we highlight some of the events coming up this week in and around Gloucester Township.

On Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Gloucester Township-Blackwood Rotary Public Library, children and tweens are invited to fine-tune their reading out loud skills with Mason, the library's therapy dog. Registration for the event is required and can be done via this link.

On Thursdsay at 4:30 p.m. bring your child aged 5 years and younger to Harwan Park in Gloucester Township for back-to school stories, songs and rhymes courtesy of the Gloucester Township-Blackwood Rotary Public Library. Registration is not required. Learn more at this website.

On Sunday at 10 a.m., the Washington Township (Gloucester County) Police Department's Ride to Remember to raise funds for the Gloucester County Hero Scholarship Fund kicks off at Washington Township High School. More information on participating can be found here.

If you'd rather go for a walk, join the Outdoor Club of South Jersey for a hike that starts Sunday at 10 a.m. at Gloucester Township Elementary School. (Park on Marshall Avenue.) Bring a snack and a drink, and take care of your bathroom needs before arriving. Read more about the hike here.
