HOBOKEN, NJ — With a second child on the way, a Hoboken couple recently decided to renovate their 1901 brownstone, and it caught the attention of Vogue.

This month, the magazine published photos of the updates. The magazine says, "Drawing inspiration from the heightened drama and electric energy of a city storm," the designer, Crystal Sinclair Design, "fused deep and dramatic colors with softer cloud shades."

Sinclair clarifies on her Instagram page that the decor is "inspired by a city rainstorm," without more specificity. Hoboken has had several epic nor'easters and tropical storms in the past few years, including recently (photos here).
