OCEANPORT, N.J. — Maximum Security's redemption attempt will take place at Monmouth Park. The colt, disqualified from winning the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, will race in July's $1 Million Haskell Invitational.

Maximum Security arrived Tuesday to Monmouth Park, according to reports. He pulled into the track shortly before 6 a.m., according to the Associated Press.

The previously undefeated horse was disqualified for interference at the Kentucky Derby. Trainer Jason Servis put him in a stall to rest. Maximum Security will not run in the Preakness.

Dennis Drazin, the chief executive and chairman of Darby Development LLC, which operates the track, told reporters he disagrees with the Derby disqualification.

“There was no other horse that was going to beat him, even if they ran around a second time,” Drazin told reporters.
