LIVINGSTON, NJ — Two weeks after a car crash into a utility pole in Essex County closed roads and hampered traffic in Livingston and Florham Park, another power-wire related incident took place near the Livingston Mall on Wednesday, authorities reported.

The Livingston Police Department issued the following advisory about road closures at South Orange Avenue and Eisenhower Parkway:

“South Orange Avenue is closed westbound at Walnut Street. South Orange Avenue is closed eastbound between Eisenhower Parkway and Walnut Street. Eisenhower Parkway is closed southbound at the mall entrance. Entry to the mall from Eisenhower Parkway southbound cannot be gained. Please use the Walnut Street entrances. This is the result of power wires being pulled down. PLEASE AVOID THE AREA.”
