Not Too Soon For Summer 2023: Signups For Pool, Camp Begin In Livingston

LIVINGSTON, NJ — It was 41 degrees in Livingston this morning, but that doesn't mean you can't start thinking about the pool and summer camp for 2023. Registration for both began on Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Here are the details:

Seasonal Kickoff Memorial Day Weekend At Haines Pool

The summer season will kick off May 27-29, 2023 at the Haines Pool.

Due to mechanical issues, the Northland Pool will not open during summer 2023. (Read more about that here.)

Weekend, weekday, half and full-season are memberships available.

Beginning Tuesday, Jan. 17, residents can register for renewals or new memberships at Community Pass or in person at Senior Youth & Leisure Services, 204 Hillside Ave., Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Mervyn V.T. Haines Pool is located at 10 Wahler Road adjacent to Livingston High School.

Amenities include: accessible men’s and women’s locker rooms with private showers and dressing rooms; chair lift for the disabled, wading pool, water slide, lap pool, and table games and snack bar.

Swim Lessons and Aquajet Swim Team registration begins Wednesday, March 15. Watch for information.

Summer Camp Signups 2023

Livingston is running camps for tots through sixth graders. Below are the age categories and links to sign up.

2023 dates are Monday, June 26 - Friday, Aug. 4, 2023.

Half day and full day options are available. There's also extended care for grades 1-6.

Additional summer camp programs and field trips will open for registration Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Here are the camps:

• Tots Camp: Born 10/1/2019 - 09/30/2020
• Kiddie Camp
  • Preschool: Born 10/1/2018 - 09/30/2019
  • Kindergarten: Born 10/01/2017 - 09/30/2018 (entering Kindergarten, Fall 2023)
• Kids Camps: For kids who will be in grades 1-6 in fall 2023.
