Brielle Author Shares New Jersey Boxing History with Vets
Brick City Grudge Match was published in 2023
Author and Brielle resident Rod Honecker gave a presentation on March 9 to the residents of the Gordon H. Mansfield Veterans Community in Tinton Falls. The author’s book is Brick City Grudge Match: Tony Zale and Rocky Graziano Battle in Newark, 1948 published in 2023 by McFarland & Company. The vets were gracious, engaged and interested in the lives of the Middleweight Champions Zale and Graziano, who were themselves veterans.
