Two-Truck Crash Closes Lane Of Route 23 In Passaic County: Police

The right-hand lane of Route 23 is temporarily closed near the borders with Butler and Kinnelon, said West Milford police.

WEST MILFORD, NJ — Part of Route 23 is closed in West Milford after a crash involving two trucks, said police late Tuesday morning.

West Milford Police were on the scene of the crash shortly before noon in the area of mile marker 18, which is approaching the borders with Butler and Kinnelon.

The right-hand lane of Route 23 is temporarily closed, while the left lane is open.

Police ask drivers to use caution in the area, and had not posted an update as of 5 p.m.

New Jersey traffic site 511nj.org also shows moderate traffic near the intersection of Route 23 and Kinnelon Road, about two miles from the reported crash site, as of 1:55 p.m. Tuesday.
