Water Main Break Closes Busy Wayne Intersection Monday

WAYNE, NJ — Wayne Police said a water main break closed a busy intersection on Monday morning, and the closure remained in place through the day.

As of 9 a.m., police said Route 23 North is closed at Newark Pompton Turnpike. Police did not give an estimated time for the road to reopen, and the closure was still listed online at 5 p.m.
