NEW YORK CITY — A 8-year-old boy was killed, and his two parents were left injured in a triple stabbing in Queens Thursday evening, police said.

At around 5:30 p.m., officers responded to an apartment building on 94th Avenue in Jamaica after a 29-year-old woman who had been stabbed in the back ran out and asked for help, NYPD officials said.

When officers arrived at the fifth floor apartment and found a 20-year-old man holding his 43-year-old father in a headlock with a knife to his neck, NYPD Chief John Chell said at a press conference Thursday.
