NEW YORK CITY — The amount of people killed in the July 4th hit-and-run crash in the Lower East Side has increased to 4 after a 30-year-old woman died of from her injuries Tuesday, police announced.

Emily Ruiz had been hospitalized after Daniel Christopher Hyden, who was drunk, ran a stop sign and drove into Corlears Hook Park, police said.

Hyden is also accused of killing Lucille Pinkney, 59, her son Herman Pinkney, 38 and Ana Morel, 43, police said.

Another seven people were injured.

Hyden has been charged with assault causing serious injury with a weapon, aggravated vehicular homicide, driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operator, police said.
