Breezy conditions will develop that night, with wind gusts up to 31 mph, according to the forecast.

"New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible," the forecast states.

Those 30-mph wind gusts will continue into Sunday, along with a 70 percent of precipitation, according to the forecast.

The good news for New Yorkers is that whatever snow falls is unlikely to require them to break out shovels.

"Little or no snow accumulation expected," the forecast states.
