51-Year-Old Asked Child To Expose Himself In Online Chat: Police

The New Rochelle man was arrested for endangering the welfare of a 12-year-old boy, who he was already acquainted with, NRPD said.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Police say an online predator preyed on a child he was already acquainted with.

On Wednesday, at about 3:40 p.m., NRPD detectives wrapped up a sex offense investigation with the arrest of a New Rochelle man on sex offense charges.

Fernando Rincon is accused of video chatting with a 12-year-old boy known to him and asking the youth to expose his genitalia to him on multiple occasions.

During his arrest, the 51-year-old was found to be in possession of illegal drugs, according to police.

Rincon is charged with two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child and felony criminal possession of a controlled substance.
