'Trespasser' Had Large Stash Of Drugs, Brass Knuckles: NRPD

A 59-year-old was found with crack-cocaine, heroin, and powder cocaine, on New Rochelle Municipal Housing Authority property, cops say.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Police say a New Rochelle man was up to no good at a public housing complex that has grabbed headlines for notable drug activity in the past.

The New Rochelle Police Department says that on Friday, shortly before 1 p.m., detectives arrested a man for trespassing at 111 Lockwood Ave., a New Rochelle Municipal Housing Authority property.

While conducting a search after his arrest, police found that the man had around 30 grams of crack-cocaine, heroin, powder cocaine and brass knuckles.

59-year-old Jamel Glenn, of New Rochelle, was then taken to NRPD headquarters for processing.

He was charged with felony second degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felony third degree criminal possession of a weapon, misdemeanor third degree criminal trespass, and felony fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
