BHS Swimmer Named All American
Carly Schwab among the elite group of athletes on the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association list published in July
The National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) has announced its list of All American swimmers and divers for the 2017-18 high school competitive season and named Briarcliff High School standout, Carly Schwab, among the elite group.
This honor caps off a remarkable year during which Schwab was a state champion in the 50-yard freestyle, the 100-yard breaststroke, the 200-yard medley relay and 200-yard freestyle and earned All-State and All-League honors. Schwab is swimming this summer for the Village of Briarcliff Manor Recreation Department Swimming and Diving Team and will be competing for her year-round club team, Rivertown Aquatics, at Nassau County Aquatics center at Eisenhower Park on Long Island in the Senior Metropolitan Long Course Championships July 21 and 22.
