2 Charged In E-Nicotine Sales To Minors In Suffolk: Cops

They were arrested at two different smoke shops in the 6th Precinct, Suffolk police say.

SELDEN, NY— Two workers from two different businesses have been charged in connection with selling Nicotine products to minors during compliance checks at businesses in the Sixth Precinct. Suffolk police said.

In response to numerous community complaints, officers from the 6th Precinct Crime Section undertook an investigation into the sale of E-Liquid Nicotine products to minors during which four businesses were checked for compliance with the law, according to police.

The two people were charged with unlawfully dealing with a child, a misdemeanor, police said.

They included a 47-year-old Ronkonkoma man working at Mount Sinai Smoke Shop in Mt. Sinai and a 25-year-old Woodside man working at Puff Club Smoke in Coram, according to police.

The two were both issued Field Appearance Tickets and are scheduled to appear for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date, police said.
