SACHEM, NY — Without community leaders, Sachem wouldn’t hum along nearly as smoothly as it does. We’d miss their contributions in big and small ways.

Why do you believe the community leader should be recognized or honored?

For years, Terence has spent countless hours leading the Sachem Sports Club (SSC). He wears the hats of coordinator, groundskeeper, coach, cheerleader and many more. Most importantly, he's a mentor, teaching our kids the values that they will keep for life. He's following the teachings of his father John Dee, who served the community through coaching for many years also. His commitment to our youth is unwavering and serves as an inspiration to many.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the community hero?

Nothing gives him more joy than to watch our community's youth mature from pee-wee boys and girls into young men and women ready to take on the world.
