The drivers of the two other vehicles remained on the scene and are cooperating with police.

A preliminary investigation found the motorcycle to be traveling on Woolston Drive.

As the motorcycle approached the intersection, a 76-year-old Lower Makefield Township man driving a sedan attempted to turn from Woolston Drive to Makefield Road, police said.

As he attempted to turn, the motorcyclist struck the passenger side of the sedan, causing the motorcyclist to travel over the vehicle and land on the roadway.

Following the collision, the sedan rolled into a stopped vehicle at the stop sign.

At this time, speeding, intoxication, or a medical emergency do not appear to be a factor in the collision, police said.
