Amanda K. Metzger, 37, To Be Laid To Rest In Newtown Monday

Amanda K. Metzger passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19. She was 37.

Amanda K. Metzger of Yardley, Pa. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia. She was 37.

Born in Philadelphia, Amanda was raised in Langhorne, then lived in Levittown before moving to Yardley ten years ago.

She was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church in Yardley. A 1997 graduate of Archbishop Wood High School, she enjoyed volunteering for her children's activities, such as gymnastics and school functions. Her real love was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, A.J. Metzger; her mother and step-father, Kathleen and Joseph Dombrowski of Langhorne; her father, Vincent DiCiacco of Levittown; four children, Savannah, Amelia, and twins, Jake and Kiera; a sister, Kimberly Ditizio of Levittown; her brother, Michael DiCiacco of Bedminster, Pa.; and her in-laws, Al and Eileen Metzger of Southampton, Pa.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her funeral Mass at 11 a.m., Monday, April 25 at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 81 Swamp Rd., Newtown, PA 18940, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.
