SOLEBURY, PA — A local apple orchard has been named the best in Pennsylvania, and for those who've been there, this news comes at no surprise.

Solebury Orchards was named Pennsylvania's best orchard by "Best Things Pennsylvania" — a website powered by AmericanTowns Media.

Solebury Orchards grows apples, peaches, blueberries, pears, plums, apricots, cherries and more on a picturesque setting on 80 acres off Creamery Road in Solebury Township. They are also well-known for their amazing cider donuts.

The orchard isn't new to accolades — it was previously nominated as one of the country's best by USA Today.

The orchard's pick-your-own season is now underway. There are complimentary wagon rides through the orchard for apple picking on Saturdays and Sundays.

Hours are Thursdays through Sunday from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. through October. In November, the orchard is open the same days of the week, but closes at 5 p.m.

Solebury Orchards also has a market that's open from late June through March.
